The NBA has become a dunkfest and it’s time to raise the rims (Chicago Sun-Times)

I’ve been saying this for years. I also wouldn’t mind the court being also proportionally enlarged. Watch old NBA stuff from the 50s and 60s and then watch a game from today…there’s now just too much beef in too small a 3-d volume. It’s time to lower the density a bit.
