Sarah Connor Chronicles Terminated
Entertainment Weekly‘s Michael Ausiello has just reported that Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles will be listed as canceled once FOX presents at the upfronts later this morning (he’s listing it as officially canceled now).
While not exactly surprising news, it is disappointing. I’d been hoping for at least a 6-, 9-, or 13-episode order to fill in the time slot and allow the story to conclude until a replacement is ready (it’s rumored that Human Target might be being considered for late-fall or mid-season instead of starting in September).
What now? Well…I’m continuing my fanfic season of scripts. Though about as unofficial as can be, at least it’s continuing this terminator story. It’s not what JF and crew would do, but at least it’s there and on-going.
I’m just hoping that Joss Whedon can snag Summer for the surprisingly renewed Dollhouse—especially now that Amy Acker has another role on Happy Town, which ABC picked up for fall. Tell me you wouldn’t tune in to see Summer in Dollhouse.
