Anime On My Mind

I’ve had anime and manga on my mind, lately. I’ve been watching shows and drawing images in this distinctive style quite a bit in the past month or so. I can’t put my finger on why, exactly, except that I’ve been a fan of the style since its early days in America.

Is 3-D a Fad or a Stepping Stone?

It’s all the rage. All the cool studios are doing it. What’s not to like about 3-D movies and TV? Well, a lot, but I just don’t want to be a naysayer. It’s possible that 3-D will stick around this time for it to develop into something still only seen in SF movies.

Other Scripts I’d Love to Write

I love to write, especially screenplays, so as you can guess, I have tons of stuff I’d like to write. Some things are special: either held close to the vest by their owners, or simply not easily gotten even if you have a name and rep. Like many screenwriters, I’d love to take a crack at them.

TCW Compilations

As I wrote The Connor Wars, I posted scripts on a more-or-less consistent schedule. By necessity that meant I posted each script on its own. True, while I threaded them together so you could read them in order, and provided a home page for you to access them at your whim, there was still one thing left to do that I’ve held off doing until now: a compilation.

TV Execs, Don’t Be Afraid of TV Couples Coupling

Some show has a couple with chemistry…except they aren’t a couple. Their non-couple status is teased season after season. Why? Because we have to remember what happened to Moonlighting. It’s time we give it a rest. I don’t think I’m alone in feeling that the Moonlighting excuse has out-lived its warranty period.
