The penultimate episode of the second season of Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles delivered a long overdue reset to the series. Not so much of story (though that got a boost), but of character. The characters acted surprisingly in-character this week in a story that was almost totally about trust.

In a departure from much of season 2, this episode gave us not only coordinated attacks against John and the rest of the Connor Cadre, but also an attempt on the life of John Henry by another “sibling” A.I.

The Connors manage to prevent the creation of Skynet. Policies are put in place to prevent any A.I. from having complete control of military resources. All personnel and terminators sent to the past from different timeline(s) are killed in their own fashion…all except one: Cameron Phillips. If victory is gained and Cameron survives, what becomes of her?
