It has been said that if you truly enjoy what you do, then no job is work. I’m not sure I’d go quite that far. No matter how much you like doing something, there are going to be times when it’s a slog. Still, the spirit of the saying is true enough. If you find something that you love to do, you just want to keep doing it.

I had to wait overnight before I was able to do some real-world tests with my new camera body. I took about 20 minutes to wander around my backyard and shot about 40 pictures. All-in-all, I think it was a pretty good introductory session. Here are some of the photos so you can see for yourself.

In the pre-digital days, I was a photographer. I stopped while film was still king. Now that I again want to take the quality of pictures I was trained to take, I must decide if it’s time to buy the sort of equipment I was trained to use.

I, being a push-over whenever a DLT asks me for just about anything, of course said, “Sure.” After all, I’d done a bit of actor/model promo photography back in the day.
