Read more...Once you’ve lived long enough, and have a lot of memories in the ol’ grouch bag, it’s hard not to pause every now and then to consider that unique collection that adds up to your life. Like you, I have a variety of event-mementos good, bad, and hard to define. Mostly, though, I prefer to pull out those things that still make me smile.
Read more...I think that in all of my years, my DLTs are the most unexpected and happiest surprises in my life. I’ve not had children of my own, but I can’t imagine that I would have loved them any more than this trio of ladies.
Read more...Though I’m close with my parents and my brother, I never thought I’d be so happy to also consider myself adopted. To all you who think you’ll never find love, all I can say is be patient (clue…I’m in my 40s, so it took a fair amount of patience) and be open…you never know.
