Comic-Con – Victim of Its Own Success?

With Comic-Con sprouting again in San Diego in ’09, I can’t help feel like this year is different. I’ve had this sense before with other sorts of conventions. Has Comic-Con’s popularity caused it to meet their fate?

Not Sure How I Feel About CSI 0920

Tonight’s episdoe of CSI, “A Space Oddity”, promised to be an interesting one: a death at a scifi convention. I’m still not quite sure if it was a parody, an homage, or outright mocking. I say this despite the fact that the principle writers have a connection to the genre.
