Read more...I had to wait overnight before I was able to do some real-world tests with my new camera body. I took about 20 minutes to wander around my backyard and shot about 40 pictures. All-in-all, I think it was a pretty good introductory session. Here are some of the photos so you can see for yourself.
Read more...Well, today I went out to several camera stores and gave all the various camera bodies I was thinking about a test drive. Based on price and feel, there really was no choice at all. Everything pointed to the Nikon D80.
Read more...Since I wrote “Thinking About Getting a DSLR Camera”, I’ve been doing a lot of research. A LOT. I’m still not 100% committed to my pick, but right now I’m primarily focusing on one DSLR that I’m going to add to my stable. It’s not just the camera, but the lenses and accessories as well.
Read more...In the pre-digital days, I was a photographer. I stopped while film was still king. Now that I again want to take the quality of pictures I was trained to take, I must decide if it’s time to buy the sort of equipment I was trained to use.
