This makes me very happy. A new league administered by US Soccer. Salaries for USA, CAN, and MEX national team players being subsidized by their respective WNT federations seems a sound investment for what is both a training and development league for those national teams. This seems like the best financial formula yet tried for a top-tier North American women’s pro soccer league.
