Marching to the Beat of a Different Little Drummer Boy
[Some people just glide into the holiday season as if on a poem. Others start off well, but have a few stumbles before they get the hang of it. —CJ]
December is here,
A time of good cheer,
Cards rhyme in good cause,
For the visit of Santa…St. Nick.
Good will to all peeps,
That sown we will reap,
The song of the season,
Faith, hope, love, and thinking.
Though weather turns snowy,
And the wind gets all blowy,
We’ll brave ice-cold wrath,
To shovel a clear passageway.
Find no reason to pout,
‘s’not what the season’s about,
Warm your heart and thaw that smile,
Make Xmas stick for more than a while.
