I know a lot of people will moan about how the game wasn’t close and it seemed like Detroit didn’t really show up.  Well, I’m OK with that.  Given how Phoenix played

I’ve been waiting eleven long years to shout, "Woo Hoo!  Phoenix Won! The Mercury Won!"

I know a lot of people will moan about how the game wasn’t close and it seemed like Detroit didn’t really show up.  Well, I’m OK with that.  Given how Phoenix played for much of the season, I think this added a good punctuation for their style of play.  That they finished with 108 points added a cherry on top.

I don’t really have anything more profound or analytical to add.  After the crushing disappointment of watching the Mercury squander a lead the first time they were in the finals against Houston, I just feel such a sense of relief that this franchise’s potential has finally been realized.
