Anna Ellison, the Muse of Cakes
I love Ace of Cakes. It’s one of the most entertaining shows on television, bar none. There’s heart, humor, art, and oh-no-they-dint moments in most episodes. That said, there is one person on the Charm City Cakes staff that is guaranteed to make me watch episode after episode: art director Anna Ellison. (Sorry about the poor image that I had to quickly paint up. There really aren’t any images of Anna out in the world, so this will have to do.)
That she’s gorgeous isn’t even up for debate. But wait, there’s more. She is one scary-good artist. That she managed to badger her way into the bakery and become the art director is one of the best things to have ever happened to Charm City Cakes. Sure, we’ve seen her get a little possessive with the art, but as even Duff had to admit, she’s almost always right.
Back when I was about her age, there would have been no doubt we’d have been friends. She has a temperament that is so very familiar (maybe it’s a Maryland thing). So…beautiful, talented, and familiar. Heck of a combination.
And before you email me asking questions. No, other than her birth date I don’t have any more information than y’all do given a thorough web search. She’s 25 (as of this writing) going on 26 in April. Her ancestry is still a bit of a mystery, but her mother is from Taiwan. Anna studied art in Maryland, and she certainly has shown a broad range of ability in that area.
Though she’s not the only reason I tune in to Ace of Cakes, she definitely makes any episode she has a major part in that much more enjoyable to watch. Yay Anna!
