The Xuxa Web Under New Management

For nearly six years the oldest web site for the Brazilian superstar Xuxa was mine. It started from a little 30 KB FAQ for about ten readers. It grew to be an 8 MB web site with upwards of 250,000-300,000 visits a month. Unfortunately, the resources to keep it updated (especially the resource of *TIME*) forced me to find a new owner or to close it down completely in March 1999. Fortunately, it did find a new home. The transfer was officially made on July 1, 1999, and the new home. Then that went belly up, so another angel came forth to lend their site in February 2004. And now that’s apparently gone.

Looks like I might have to make the site live again as a sort of museum-piece. Still thinking about it.
