Fiction: Rescued For Life
Because of The Connor Wars, many of you know me as a screenwriter. That’s good–that’s pretty much how I know me, too. That said, I’m not totally incapable of writing fiction in the traditional way. Here’s a little something from the archives: a science fiction short story about the necessity of limits.
Comic-Con – Victim of Its Own Success?
With Comic-Con sprouting again in San Diego in ’09, I can’t help feel like this year is different. I’ve had this sense before with other sorts of conventions. Has Comic-Con’s popularity caused it to meet their fate?

Star Trek Memories
I’ve had Star Trek be a part of my life since 1967. I was in elementary school at the time. Though I didn’t quite latch on to the series when it started, by the end of the first season I was hooked. Who knew that 42 years later, I’d still be talking about it?

TTSCC – Beyond John’s Army

TTSCC – Cameron and DID
I’m still not sold on the idea that Cameron’s chip is necessarily glitchy. Since her CPU was damaged, there is no doubt that she’s been having to work through various conflicts that weren’t conflicts before.

Not Sure How I Feel About CSI 0920
Tonight’s episdoe of CSI, “A Space Oddity”, promised to be an interesting one: a death at a scifi convention. I’m still not quite sure if it was a parody, an homage, or outright mocking. I say this despite the fact that the principle writers have a connection to the genre.

TTSCC – The Importance of John Henry in Season 3
The mud-puddle that sucking at my shoe is this question: What, exactly, is so important about Weaver’s John that Sarah’s John can’t win the war without em?
