Here is the twenty-seventh (and penultimate) installment of The Connor Wars. The fanfic that picks up where the second season finale of Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles left off.
As I disclaim on the title page, this is just meant to be a bit of fannish fun in the long spirit of the various fan communities. I’m not intending to step on any toes.
Generating Heat
Brandi’s latest attempt to do away with John and his little insurrection comes to a conclusion. Many gather when Allison needs medical attention. Skynet and John know that a showdown is nigh…and Brandi again wants to tip the odds in Skynet’s favor.
Well…we’re nearly there. This is the next-to-last script of my little project. It’s the last 1-hour teleplay–the next script being the 2-hour+ screenplay finale.

Excellent episode! I am saddened to see it coming to an end but, I at least feel I now have some closure that the series did not give us. Thanks for all your efforts. I have really enjoyed your work.
Rumor has it… actually, gypsycdk, I had a dream a while ago, and asked someone if F05 is being considered and the answer was “yes, simmering in the pot”. That someone looked remarkably close to Lumir G Janku, so maybe there is something to it.
gypsycdk: Thanks. I know what you mean about my little project winding up. I’m feeling sort of the same way. I love this story. I love writing this story. On the other hand, it’s also been nice to get my brain back. I’m feeling functional again. (I dearly love the Musae, but their gifts can sap the energy of we mere mortals. But better that than the alternative.)
And who is the “heat generator” in this one?!? I mean, what the title stands for?
Is it Brandi? That cold-blooded-brain-sic-paranoid-more-than-Skynet-less-than-half-human-more-than-half-terminator-bitch?!? Just curious.
“Generating Heat” refers to the friction that has been building between John and Skynet/Brandi (a/k/a the cold-blooded-brain-sic-paranoid-more-than-Skynet-less-than-half-human-more-than-half-terminator-bitch LOL!) to the place that they’ve reached a flash-point.

Buffy: Easy. We burn the house to the ground and collect the insurance. Plus: Fire. Pretty.
Loved to watch fire (camp fire, this fire, that fire) as a kid, obsessively. Pity that arsonists aren’t paid so well, in time I realized that an expertise in that profession would not be appreciated!
So, I switched to ceramics. (long time ago, haven’t done any for maybe 25 years… maybe one day I get back to it).
