Here is the fourth season premiere episode (and twenty-third installment) of The Connor Wars. The fanfic that picks up where the second season finale of Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles left off.
As I disclaim on the title page, this is just meant to be a bit of fannish fun in the long spirit of the various fan communities. I’m not intending to step on any toes.

The final season premiere.
In the third season finale, John was faced not only with Brandi and Skynet’s plan for Serrano, but also a terminator with John in its sights. Those mysteries are resolved as the desperate battle to save humanity continues.

The storytelling become somewhat fragmented, lighting up only significant events in future history. As I understand, this is for speeding things up to wrap the story. Still CJ though, still very good
And no cliffhanger this time, so I made it thru the end at ease.
+ may be it’s only my impression, but more Summer on screen (even on this extremely virtual one) makes this ep. so more nicer.
Remember how, after I got through the first Palisades battle, that I started “speeding up” the storytelling? I moved from telling a month in six episodes to starting to have an episode cover a month? At least, that’s what I did until somewhere around “Whereabouts….” Basically season 3 covered about 9-10 months. Season 4, the equivalent of 7 episodes, is covering 6-8 years. It’s a heck of a storytelling speed-up. Unfortunately, it does lead to some choppiness.
I wish I was in a position to write these so they are more leisurely and contained. I’ve often said that I have a few full seasons of story left to tell. Since I wanted to finish up the tale, I opted to accept the limitations imposed by covering so much time in so few episodes. It’s not like this is unique to me (La Femme Nikita‘s last, short season comes to mind). C’est la vie.
And yeah, I thought I’d be nice and not give you a cliffhanger
