The Connor Wars F0318 – “Whereabouts Unknown”

The Connor Wars - logo 3a 360Here is the eighteenth installment of Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles fanfic that picks up where the second season finale left off. As I mentioned before, I was so enthusiastic about the possibilities presented when the season ended that I just had to keep it going regardless of what happens with the suits at FOX.

The first thing you’ll probably notice is that I changed the name of the series to Terminator: The Connor Wars. I think that more accurately conveys what this project will cover as well as it being a lot easier to say.

As I disclaim on the title page, this is just meant to be a bit of fannish fun in the long spirit of the various fan communities. I’m not intending to step on any toes.

Whereabouts Unknown

John finds his increased responsibilities tested as Skynet continues its attacks, allies go missing, allies fight him, and a potential ally is found.

(With the size it is, and if it didn’t do it automagically, the PDF seems to read easier if you zoom to 66.7% and then scroll the text horizontally so it’s centered.)

Next episode: F0319 – “Any Blame or Fault”

Oh, and before I get emails about this. The PDF file I generated has the setting to allow people to print out the script turned off. If you are having trouble with the plug-in, click here.

  1. Damn you! :P :P

Great chapter, with everything floating in the air at the end: Allison missing and wounded, Catherine disappeared with her endos, all the resistance fighting Skynet’s strikes…. gasp! I can’t hold it! :D

    Savannah’s back!

I lolled when Allison asked Cameron why machines are so lousy shot! Nice one!

    Oh and this one:

CAMERON: The people have to matter.

And everyone stares at Cameron, which catches her off-guard.

It was so, can’t find the proper word, but I was really able to figure that scene in my mind like a picture. :)

I hope for some more Jameron in the future then a more-long-then-needed-look. :D

By the way: keep up the good work, I’m eager to see how it continues!

  2. Thanks.

Yeah, that lousy shots thing… I enjoyed that. I figured: it’s never been addressed, and they are still pretty bad shots in TCW, so it merited some explaining. Plus, so cool when Allison tries a subtle diss of the Tin-miss and then gets an actual response.

Cameron remarked in “Mr. Ferguson…” that John is always listening. Obviously, so is Cameron. Jesse’s criticism of her during the Jimmy Carter debrief had more impact than was intended.

  3. I’ve just a few things to write about Jameron moments: I know that your story is about John fighting Skynet and I’m currently enjoying a lot reading it but, your story also starts where TSCC has left, with John travelling to the future for her, for Cameron, surely his original intention wasn’t for fighting Skynet. :)

If this isn’t love, tell me what is it! Of course the war has forged and endured John and he has a lot of vital things to do but I also believe that he could spend a little more of his time with Cameron without transforming TCW in a soap. :D

John always cares, that’s why he’s different.

    My 2 cent.

  4. Oh, there’s plenty of love all around. The key is in how it is expressed and in what circumstance. And whether orchestral strings are involved… or taiko drums.

If the story says put them together, I put them together. On the other hand, if the story dictates that they each need to be elsewhere, then I elsewhere them apart.
