Here is the tenth installment of Terminator – The Sarah Connor Chronicles fanfic that picks up where the second season finale left off. As I mentioned before, I was so enthusiastic about the possibilities presented when the season ended that I just had to keep it going regardless of what happens with the suits at FOX.
The first thing you’ll probably notice is that I changed the name of the series to Terminator: The Connor Wars. I think that more accurately conveys what this project will cover as well as it being a lot easier to say.
As I disclaim on the title page, this is just meant to be a bit of fannish fun in the long spirit of the various fan communities. I’m not intending to step on any toes.
Tumbling From the Ski Jump
When you choose to do, instead of talking about doing, you run face first into the possibilities of “the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat”. John learns about this as he assumes his first command.
Of course he has the added distraction of the mystery vault finally being opened. It’s contents having obvious implications.
(With the size it is, and if it didn’t do it automagically, the PDF seems to read easier if you zoom to 66.7% and then scroll the text horizontally so it’s centered.)
NOTE: I’ve changed the code I’ve been using to display the pdf. I hope this solves the problem some of you have been having. I hope it doesn’t mess things up for the rest of you. At present, this is the only episode with this change. If it’s better or worse for you, please let me know.

Another Fab episode with various threads coming togther. I’m intrigued about Cameron’s model evolving into the T1000 series, and just what did Catherine inject into John?
I must admit to being a little disappointed about John’s muted reaction to seeing Cameron again. Although as this is a screenplay I’m assuming his face would speak a thousand words, just like in a Japanese ‘no’ play. I also felt a hurt when Sarah started beating on Cameron’s wounded body, and parting company with a threat; poor Cam always get’s the brunt of Sarah’s wraith.
You are really taking us on a roller-coaster ride, and I for one count the days between the episodes. I have recommended the site and attached a link to the Summer-Glau.net site, hope that’s OK.

@TheSqonk – Being a smartass IRL, I do try to bring the funny when I can.
@Bilbo – One of the directions I’ve chosen to take isn’t being solely focused on who wins or loses the war, but also who the characters are, what are their motivations? Everyone has their own agendas.
As for John’s slightly muted reaction…well let’s not forget that he does see that face almost every day. Also, that’s more of an actor/director decision.
Yeah. Poor cam. She hasn’t been getting a lot of love tossed her way.
And please, link/comment/evenglize wherever you can or want to. Most of my time is spent worrying about creating a good story. I don’t ply the terminator web as deeply as you might think. Just not enough time. I can either advertise the stories (and I’m not good at self-promotion) or I can write them and have y’all spread the word. I’ve chosen the latter for if there are no stories, what’s the point? I do want everyone who craves more TSCC, everyone who would enjoy the stories I’ve written, to know that they are here. Thing is, a lot of people have been turned off by fanfic, and even more by scripts in any form (I’ve seen a lot of the online stuff over the decades…can’t really blame them). It’s a tough sell. So, I figured that if I did the thing that I do best, and if the end result was good enough, then people would eventually find it. If you write it…they will come.
And that’s my usually long-winded way of saying, “Thank you very much,” for spreading the word.
@esavard – You’ll have to thank the Muse(s) who dropped that final scene in my lap. I can take no credit for that. (Honestly, as I was wiping away tears through most of it, I was nothing but a typist for the universal creative forces.)

I just finished “Tumbling From The Ski Jump ” ……totally awesome action and drama !!!!
Finally we get to see what happened to Cameron , but , I had a feeling she would have stayed behind and not been enveloped in the time bubble . So if she is almost 100% , all she really needs is her old chip back .
The problem now seems to be Allison and how she will take all this in , or should I say how she manages to accept or reject Cameron.
It was nice of Allison to be beside John when he was in the recovery room, but , I am sure she was shocked to hear John speak to her as if she was Cam. Now , the other problem she seems to have to deal with will be how John asked her /Cam to take care of Allison/her . How will Allison see this ??
Does this mean John is starting to have strong feelings for Allison ? and if Cam gets re-activated , how will Cam see the Allison john relationship? will Cam feel threatened?? ( Like she did with Riley)
I am glad Sarah kept Cameron around, even if she was torn apart over Cam being a terminator .
Deep down i feel Sarah knew John had a connection with Cameron , and also with the terminator from T2.
I just seemed natural for John to accept a terminator more easily that Sarah would .
It was nice to see John getting promoted from civilian to Captain, and he got to fight ( good action CJ !!)
All in all another great effort from you …..keep it up !!

pretty damn cool if you ask me, i love when people don´t have fear of hurting their main characters, good to see that Jonh is not like Rambo who doesn´t get hurt no matter what you do, i belive he did get hurt a little in the TTSCC series up till now but nothing as serious as Sara´s wounds, now with bein shot and then hurt by a falling HK i think he finaly got his share of scars.

It gave me the impression that Cameron will not be comming back to action for some time… still i can´t wait to see how Alisson and Cameron will interact, it seems
pretty obivious that Alisson see Jonh as something more than just a friend, as for Cameron.. who can say what goes into her mind (or chip if you prefer)? Well guess you would but its not like you will tell me right now.
What i wanted to ask was, what is this misson weaver talks about? as i reviwed the previous posts of Terminator: The Connor Wars. i could not find this misson, I may have missed some information because i did not have enough time to read it very carefully, I was under the impression that weaver and jonh´s misson was to find Jonh Henry in the future but weaver has already found him, it coud also be to defeat skynet but reactivating Cameron after it would be kind of pointless, besides that i can only think that it would be for Jonh to become the leader of the resistance but i am not certain of that as it could all be fruit of my enormous dumbness and i am just talking shit.
Despite of how smart i am i can at least recognize a great work when i see one and in terms of fanfic i think yours is Very good and the only one good enought to read past the first charpter as all the others are piles of crap while yours is the real deal, I missed Bedell though, I like his “good soldier” way of acting.
All i can say is that i can´t wait to see the next one, and sorry for any mistakes in my english

There are a lot of story threads that involve the characters and the plot. Weaver and John have an overlap of desirable outcomes that allow their different agendas to mesh. Trouble is, all of our characters, much as in real life, are on their own paths. As a result, what Weaver might construe as a successful mission might be very different from what John would consider to be successful. Or Allison…or Derek…or Perry (now)…or the reader. Weaver, for example, hasn’t explicitly stated what her mission is, but it has been implied.
This is also confounded by the characters who have time-traveled, who may be bringing some baggage with them that doesn’t exactly fit the current circumstance.
The one I feel sorry for is Allison. She’s playing a complex game of chance and she doesn’t know all the rules.
And thanks everyone for spreading the word. I saw my first capsule review of an episode from this project. made me want to read the script

I love your story and this chapter is really beautiful. It continues to move me, from the first scene, with John’ V.O., to the Alison/Cameron confrontation, to Weaver arguing upon Cameron’s creator, to John’s battle and the final scene!!
