A New Look

I thought it was time to upgrade the site a bit.

When I first launched this revamped blog almost 6 months ago, aesthetics took a back seat to getting everything else working. In that time I’ve found things that worked, didn’t work, that I liked and didn’t like. The “didn’t work” and “didn’t like” bits were nattering at me enough that I decided on the update.

One of the choices I made was to move the format a bit away from the old-style blog format and into something more like an on-line magazine. Though you won’t get a full story on the front page like before, I think the greater variety of options, presented in a less messy scattered unorganized eclectic manner will make your visits to the site more enjoyable.

The changeover isn’t quite complete. Lots of housekeeping/admin code has to be tended to, and there are still a couple of conveniences I still need to shift over, but what is there does seem to work. If it doesn’t please let me know.
